‘CHARITY POOL’ RULES for 2025
For the 2025 the ‘Charity Pool’ has been set at an an�cipated £XXX (subject to
昀椀nal con昀椀rma�on). This sum will in its en�rety be distributed to UK Registered
Chari�es and CASCs (Community Amateur Sports Clubs) selected by individuals/
teams who have raised money for that charity. This year we have decided to
accept only one UK Registered Charity or CASC per team and where the funds
raised go directly to the charity (ie the charity/CASC is registered for the
pla�orm used). See below for detailed rules.
The ‘Charity Pool’ has been made possible by the excep�onal generosity of a
small number of local organisa�ons – speci昀椀cally:

The rules for 2025 are as follows:
- Any individual/team raising money for a UK Registered Charity or CASC can
compete for a share of this fund
- Teams must raise funds via a recognised online fundraising portal – eg Just
Giving, Peoples Funding, GoodHub, etc. The funds must go direct to the
charity – not to the individual organising the fundraising.
- If a team/smaller charity is uncertain regarding how to set up a pla�orm
there are helpful hints on our website – and if s�ll unsure please seek guidance
on info@santasfunrun.org .
