Looking after everyone!
We all want a safe, friendly and
sustainable run – respec�ng each
other, the people who live in the area
and of course the environment. So
here are a few requests to all those
par�cipa�ng and watching:
PLEASE - follow the Highway Code
– and the guidance of the Course
Marshals.
PLEASE - dispose of your Santa Suit
in a responsible way – and perhaps
keep it for next year. (Many ask us
why we can’t use more sustainable
suits. Quite simply we would have to
more than double the entry price to
do this!). Please be assured that if
you dispose of your suit in our designated bins they will be recycled – most likely
reappearing in an insula�on or carpet product.
PLEASE - take care in the more crowded areas of the course. Watch out for kerb
stones and street furniture.
PLEASE - wear your runner number! In the unlikely event of an accident the
number helps us to deal with whatever situa�on arises.
PLEASE - keep pets and pushchairs at the back of the race – and keep pets on a
short lead. And bring a poo bag if you have a dog!
PLEASE DO NOT drop your suit – or bits of it – in the road. Local residents
shouldnot have to deal with ‘debris’ le� by runners!
PLEASE DO NOT allow small children to run separately from adults.
PLEASE DO NOT allow children to use their scooters or bikes.
And 昀椀nally PLEASE have a really great time!
