WE WANT ALL ENTRANTS TO

In 2024 we decided to stop the banana o昀昀er at the end of
the run. We always have large numbers of unwanted fruits a�er
the run is over. We will con�nue to o昀昀er hot chocolate and
biscuits – made available by some of our sponsors

We stopped distribu�ng plas�c water bo�les some years
ago and ask entrants to bring their own reusable water container
if required
�
We obviously use compliant cups to supply the free
drinking chocolate to entrants
�
We have progressively reduced the programme hard copy
numbers over the years - and will con�nue to increasingly o昀昀er
an online programme alterna�ve.

We put considerable e昀昀ort into waste management and
recycling. We have entered into an arrangement with Grundon
Waste Management in order to help us do this – and they
forward suits collected in the Park for specialist recycling. The
material then ends up as either carpet underlay or some form of
insula�on.

The Race Numbers have a plas�c content – needed to
survive wet condi�ons. We are arranging bins for race number
collec�on in 2026.
