The team is currently installing plumbing for the toilets, with the
concrete base slab soon to be poured.
We’re also pleased to share that, a�er much research, a reliable
way of transferring funds directly to the Harare Club’s Charity
Account has been established. Despite the challenges posed by
the UK Government’s embargo on Zimbabwe, this new system is
working smoothly — a vital step forward for con�nued support.
This project is a testament to perseverance, partnership, and the
power of Rotary to make a las�ng di昀昀erence.
This year’s Maidenhead Boundary Walk was a resounding success,
bringing together 549 walkers who raised an impressive £22,538 for
over 58 di昀昀erent chari�es. The Rotary Clubs of Maidenhead Bridge
and Maidenhead Rotary, along with volunteer support from
Maidenhead Rotaract, The Civic Society and GoodGym, organised the
event, which drew par�cipants from across the community to take
part in this historic 13-mile tradi�on of "bea�ng the bounds."
